Ter-Petrossian would attend parade only to inspect it - ANC member

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc representatives won’t attend the reception in Armenian parliament on September 19 on the occasion of 20th anniversary of independence, ANC coordinator stated.

“How can we celebrate with mobocracy heads? The only event we’d attend would be negotiations to release the country from their rule,” Levon Zurabyan stressed.

According to Zurabyan, ANC members won’t participate in September 21 military parade. “The only way ANC would be there is in case the parade were inspected by the first Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrossian,” Zurabyan noted.

Former Armenian Presidents Levon Ter-Petrossian and Robert Kocharian won't attend Armenia's independence 20th anniversary celebration on September 21.

As the second President's spokesman Victor Soghomonyan stated, “several days ago Mr. Kocharian left Armenia on private business and won't be able to attend the celebratory events.”

Soghomonyan chose not to reveal further details.
