  Armenia’s economic activity index grows by 9,6% in Aug 2011 September 20, 2011 - 13:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A 9,6% growth in economic activity index in Armenia in August 2011 was reported as compared to the same period in 2010. According to the National Statistical Service, the economic activity growth totaled 21,3% in August compared to July 2011. Inflation in August comprised 4,8% agaisnt the same period in 2010. Consumer prices dropped by 0,6% in August against July 2011. The national budget envisages 4,6% GDP growth and 4% (±1,5%) inflation for 2011.
