Susi Kentikian to defend titles against Teerapora Pannimit

After a four year break there will finally be a boxing event in the Brandenburg-Halle of Frankfurt/Oder, Fightnews.com reported.

The Brandenburg town with a great boxing tradition will experience two German female athletes of world class level on October 21, 2011. The SES ladies “Killer Queen” Susi Kentikian and the woman with the biggest hammer, Christina Hammer return to action.

The unbeaten triple world champion Susi Kentikian (28-0, 16 KOs) will be defending the flyweight of the WIBF, WBO and WBA. The fight of the “Killer Queen” always promises dynamic and speeding actions at the highest level. The fight receives an additional explosive focus because the challenger Teerapora Pannimit (14-3, 5 KOs) from Thailand is herself the WBO minimumweight champion. The only 19-year-old Asian contender is also an aggressive and dynamic fighter and she will try to take away the three crowns from the reigning German champion. But Kentikian very excited on the campaign.

Her last combat was half a year ago and she has been training hard in between with their coach Magomed Schaburow and she wants to return and release her energy finally in this upcoming competition. “I am pleased that the cooperation with SES Boxing is now really begins. Frankfurt/Oder is the right platform to perform in front of a knowledgeable audience and demonstrate what I am up for. I would like to continue the advertisement for the women’s boxing with my strong performances. Some still underestimate the high level of world class women’s boxing today. It has been confirmed with the fact that women can compete at the Olympics 2012 in London and it is a proof that women’s boxing has arrived in the biggest competition of nations,” said Kentikian.
