The event will proceed under the auspices of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. Flora Martirosyan, People’s Artist of Armenia, told journalists that the Los Angeles concert is the beginning. The series of events will continue till the 100th anniversary of the Genocide. Next year it will be held in a European country. Peter Gabriel and Montserrat Caballé have already agreed to perform. Renowned Stevie Wonder, Malina Moye, Chaka Khan, Alexia Vassiliou, Eric Benét, Arto Tuncboyaciyan are expected to participate. And the list is likely to be added on.
