130 works submitted for Orange Book Prize

The receipt of applications for participation in Orange Book Prize 2011 is over.

Organizers have received a total of 130 works, 79 of which are short stories and essays, 16 are fairy tales, 24 are screenplays and 11 are novels. The jury set to reading and assessing the works.

Four best works in each category will be selected and presented for readers’ estimation on October 7, 2011, during the book festival titled Back to Book. Winners will be selected based on on-line vote.

The winning works from each category will be published as a separate book, printed in 500 copies. The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on November 11.

The objective of the contest is to discover Armenian literary works. Orange Book Prize is organized and implemented in cooperation with Armenian Book Center NGO.
