Authorities will continue reforms in pursuit of national interests –RPA faction secretary![]() October 4, 2011 - 20:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group secretary called the last 10 days very eventful for Armenia’s political life. As Eduard Sharmazanov stated at Armenian parliament, “Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s statement at UN General Assembly’s 66th session proved that the country’s position corresponds to that of the international community on a number of issues.” He further commented on President’s visit to France, with a number of important issues discussed. As Sharmazanov noted, during the meeting, French President welcomed the changes occurring in Armenia, as well as Sargsyan’s participation in Warsaw-hosted Eastern Partnership summit. “International community supports democratic processes in Armenia, with the country’s authorities intending to continue the policy of reforms in pursuit of national and state interests,” Sharmazanov stressed. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
