RPA for dialogue, against ultimatums

PanARMENIAN.Net - A member of ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) slammed Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc for settling ultimatums.

“We support the opposition-coalition dialogue, yet don’t sympathize with ANC’s demonstrative protest actions and ultimatums for resumption of dialogue,” Artak Zakaryan said.

The MP expressed hope for his political opponents to refrain from rising tensions to the detriment of the Armenian nation. Zakaryan was skeptical over the possibility of repetition of March 1, 2008 events, noting, “I don’t think that’s what ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian is aiming for.”
