PanARMENIAN.Net - Chess Master’s Final 2011 completed in Bilbao, Spain.

Having tied the 10th round game with Vasili Ivanchuk (Ukraine), Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian gained 12 points to be placed 4th.

Viswanathan Anand (India) beat Francisco Vallejo Pons (Spain).

The championship winner, Magnus Carlsen (Norway) shared points with Hukaru Nakamura (U.S.); the Norwegian emerged victorious from the tie-break he had to play against Ivanchuk.
