RCIC PLANS TO ACTIVATE THE SEARCH OF THE MISSING PEOPLE IN RNK

PanARMENIAN.Net - 31.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The search of the missing people in RNK can be considered as trust-establishing measure between the conflicting sides. RNK Foreign Minister Naira Melkumian said this at the meeting with the head of Stepanakert office of Red Cross International Committee (RCIC), Yurg Fredlie, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the ministry of foreign affairs of RNK.

The chief of RCIC mission presented to the minister the position of his organization on the matter of the search of the people, missing due to the Karabakh conflict. Yurg Fredlie also informed RNK Foreign Minister about the course of the realization of RCIC programs in Nagorno Karabakh and shared the perspective plans of the organization.

Naira Melkumian thanked RCIC for working in this important humanitarian direction and stressed the need for close cooperation of all the interested countries and organizations to effectively solve the problem of the missing people. -0-
