PERSPECTIVES OF ACTIVATION OF ARMENIAN-GREEK MILITARY COOPERATION WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING THE VISIT OF THE DELEGATION OF THE STAFF OF GREEK ARMED FORCES
25.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Practical tasks of development of bilateral military cooperation will be discussed at the meetings at the headquarters of Armenia, which will be held during the visit of the Chief of the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Greek Republic, General Manusos Parayudakis to Yerevan beginning on August 28.
The following questions will be particularly discussed - training of Armenian cadres in Greek higher education institutions, cooperation in the matter of formation of peacemaking sub-unit within the Armed Forces of Armenia, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the Information Department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
Possibilities of military-industrial complex of Armenia and perspectives of cooperation in this field will also be studied during the meetings.
Special importance will be given to the question of a more effective interaction of Armenia and Greece within the framework of NATO "Partnership for Peace" program.
In the course of the visit the Greek delegation will give the leadership of the Armed Forces of Armenia another portion of humanitarian aid. -0-
