Young ANC activists rally in support of Tigran ArakelyanOctober 24, 2011 - 18:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Young Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc activists have gathered in front of Aram Khachaturian monument in Yerevan to rally in support of detained ANC activist Tigran Arakelyan. As one of the demonstrators, David Kiramijyan told reporters, the rally aims to support the detained activist, as well as pressure the authorities into releasing him. As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the ground, the piquet has gathered 20 demonstrators who’re holding protest posters and chanting “Freedom!” The rally will last till 9 p.m. Yerevan time, with a well-known opposition activist Vardges Gaspari, released today, to join the demonstrators.
