WE MAY SPEAK AT A BIG STRETCH ABOUT THE EXISTENCE OF "UNITY" FACTION, STATED TIGRAN TOROSIAN, VICE SPEAKER OF THE ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT

After the formation of the government headed by Andranik Margarian, the President, Government and the Armenian parliament are normally interacting, stated today in the interview to the parliamentarian paper "Hayastani Hanrapetutiun" the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, one of the leaders of the Republican Party of Armenia, Tigran Torosian.

Proceeding from that, no extraordinary events or intensification of the domestic political situation should be expected in fall, said Torosian.

Speaking of the later fate of "Unity" bloc, having the majority in the National Assembly of Armenia, Mr. Torosian stated that "when the political parties entering the bloc speak from opposite positions, a strained interpretation can be given about the existence of the faction".

The Republican Party of Armenia has held consultations with representatives of various political parties, as a result of which it plans to regulate the cooperation with "Dashnaktsutiun", National-Democratic Union and "Orinatz Yerkir" factions, noted Tigran Torosian commenting on the distribution of forces in the Armenian parliament. Besides, added Torosian, there are real perspectives for cooperation with parliamentary groups "Stability" and "Armenia". 10 deputies from "Armenia" group and representing "Yerkrapa" Volunteers Union broke away from "Unity" practically right after the formation of the new government. -0-
