ARMENIAN MFA HEAD DOES NOT RULE OUT INVOLVEMENT OF "NEW ELEMENTS" IN NEGOTIATION PROCESS ON KARABAKH SETTLEMENT
The negotiation process on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement did not reach a deadlock but was interrupted due to certain objective reasons connected particularly with the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan and Azeri president Heydar Aliyev's state of health. As reported by "Mediamax" agency, Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated today in Stepanakert, at the same time pointing out some uncertainty that aroused in the negotiation process and not ruling out the possibility of involving "new elements" in it. "Our basis approach lies in finding a resolution not conflicting with Armenia's interests, not threatening Nagorno Karabakh's security and contributing to stability in the region".
