Armenian Emergency Minister: Nov 9 quake caused no damage in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the sidelines of a government sitting, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan asked RA Emergency Minister Armen Yeritsyan to present details on Nov. 9 earthquake.

According to Minister Yeritsyan a 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey, Van province, and a 3 magnitude quake struck Yerevan.

The earthquakes that rocked Van killed 7 people died; several buildings collapsed.

On Oct. 23, a 7.2-magnitude quake hit the province of Van, killing 605 people and injuring 4152. 188 people were pulled out alive from the rubble.
