In a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Armenia goalkeeper Karen Israelyan noted Wales as a strong enough squad, yet pointing out Czechia as the main Group 3 rival. “However, I hope that home games and the support of our fans will bring us good luck,” he stressed. According to another Armenia goalie, Arsen Petrosyan, the squad must try its best to retain Group 3 leadership. “With 7 points to both Armenia and Czechia’s score, a victory in both matches would provide Armenia with an 80-90 % chance of making it to finals,” Petrosyan said.
