November 11, 2011 saw the launch of International Marketing Week in Armenia featuring Marketing Guru Philip Kotler’s visit to the country.

“Philip Kotler in Armenia 11.11.11” project was initiated by Armenian Marketing Association (AMA) under the auspices of the Armenian government.

As manager of Kotler Impact Company told a press conference, Kotler’s 4-day visit to Armenia envisages meetings with RA President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and ministers.

On project sidelines, the marketing expert will deliver certificate-based lectures for heads of Armenian companies, directors, managers and students.

AMA President Aram Navasardyan, in turn, noted that representatives from Bangladesh, India, and Egypt have expressed willingness to attend the lectures, but were unable to visit Armenia due to visa problems. According to Mr. Navasardyan, Marketing Week in Armenia will feature a two-day international conference with participants from Georgia, Turkey, Iran, the Ukraine, European countries, President of ESOMAR Market Research Association Dieter Korczak among them.
