Bako Sahakyan: NKR seeks to develop ties with SwitzerlandNovember 11, 2011 - 17:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 10, President of Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the city of Bern to meet a group of deputies representing leading parties of Switzerland. A wide range of issues including life in Artsakh, bilateral relations, Karabakh conflict settlement process and regional developments were discussed during the meeting. President Sahakyan stressed that Artsakh is interested in establishing firm ties with the Swiss Confederation and developing inter-parliamentary ties. Artsakh leader noted NKR’s interest in Swiss experience in agriculture and education spheres. Bako Sahakyan put a special emphasis on cooperation with Switzerland in developing democracy. The importance of deepening bilateral ties and implementation of specific projects was mutually stressed.
