Hripsime Khurshudyan drops out of World Weightlifting Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Hripsime Khurshudyan lifted 125 kg in the first snatch but later dropped out of the World Weightlifting Championships due to a hand injury when lifting 130 kg.

Until now the Championship has rendered no tangible success for Armenian weightlifters, with World and European champion, Olympic bronze winner Tigran Martirosyan (77kg) securing the only bronze medal in the snatch. World Junior Weightlifting champion Ruben Aleksanyan will represent Armenia 19:30, European time.
