Philip Kotler plans creation of marketing center of excellence in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Philip Kotler, the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

The PM expressed hope for Marketing Guru’s visit to Armenia to boost the development of relevant sector in the country. He noted modernization of management system as one of the key priorities, with Kotler’s lectures to contribute to the purpose.

Prof. Kotler, for his part, said Armenia has fair potential for marketing development, further urging for consecutive policy to that end.

The two men also dwelled on tourist marketing, education, IT, discussing a possibility for creation of a marketing center of excellence in Armenia.

The PM welcomed the idea, expressing readiness to contribute to its implementation, governmental press service reported.
