Hripsime Khurshudyan to restart training in 10 days – coach

PanARMENIAN.Net - Though unhappy with the performance of Armenian weightlifting squad at World Championships, on the positive side, the head coach noted 2 entries to London Olympics the team won.

Armenia earned only 2 ranking points with Hripsime Khurshudyan (+ 75 kg) and Meline Daluzyan (69 kg) failing the championship, while Isabella Yaylyan (53 kg) and Naira Harutyunyan gaining 25th and 24th places resp.

As Artashes Nersisyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Khurshudyan is recovering from a hand injury to restart training in 10 days. “No team practise sessions were scheduled for this year, other than work with personal trainers. In 2012, the team will be getting ready for European Championships and London Olympics,” the coach said.
