Armenian author presents book in Cranford

Virginia Apelian, alumna and author of the Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey, spoke about her book “Musa Dagh Girl: Daughter of Armenian Genocide Survivors” in the Roy Smith Theater on November 20, NJ.com reports.

Apelian’s story tells of deportation, refugee camps and the historical background of the Armenians.

The author emigrated from Lebanon to Paterson at the age of 12, and has been a psychologist/educator and assertiveness trainer and lecturer for 26 years.
