Destabilization in Iran threatens Armenia’s national security – ARFD member

PanARMENIAN.Net - Possibility of war in Iran arouses concerns, ARD Dashnaktsutyun Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Director Kiro Manoyan said.

Mr. Manoyan does not rule out outbreak of hostilities by Israel despite the slight possibility of war against Iran.

“Military operations will negatively affect Armenia due to Armenia-Iran diplomatic relations. We should focus on Iran’s balanced policy regarding regional issues,” Manoyan said adding that destabilization in Iran also poses threat to Armenia’s national security.

U.S. and its allies stand for tougher sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program, whereas the Pentagon does not support military operations against Tehran.
