PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian finished 2nd with 5.5 points at Tal Memorial in Moscow, Russia.

Aronian tied the last round game against Ian Nepomniatchi (Russia).

Magnus Carlsen finished 1st scoring a win over Hikaru Nakamura (U.S.). Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukraine) came 3rd with 5 points.

In 9 rounds Aronian gained two wins over Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukraine) and Peter Svidler (Russia), ending the rest of the games in a draw.
