Lebanese President visits Armenian National AssemblyDecember 9, 2011 - 19:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, December 9, Lebanese President Michel Sleiman visited Armenian National Assembly to meet with speaker Samvel Nikoyan. Vice speakers Eduard Sharmazanov and Samvel Balasanyan, heads of standing parliamentary committees and parliamentary group members also participated in the meeting. Samvel Nikoyan favored Armenian-Lebanese ties and expressed hope that president’s visit will give new impetus to them. Nikoyan further noted that Armenian community in Lebanon is a reliable link between the two countries.
