  Sharmazanov slams Cicek’s statement on Karabakh as unscrupulous  December 13, 2011 - 15:50 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish parliament speaker Cemil Cicek’s statement regarding the linkage between Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations is the evidence of unscrupulousness of Turkish policy, Armenian National Assembly vice speaker said. According to Eduard Sharmazanov , Turkey has no right to condemn other countries for land occupation until it itself occupies the territory of a European country. “To think of Turkish politicians’ cynicism in speaking of Khojalu when pursuing Armenian Genocide denial policy,” Sharmazanov stated. Vice speaker further described Cicek’s statement as manifestation of Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian propaganda and Turkish mania to distort facts. Today, December 13, Turkish parliament speaker Cemil Cicek named the ‘main condition’ for normalization of relations with Armenia. “Reconciliation with Armenia is directly linked to the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” Cicek told an Ankara-hosted gathering dedicated to the memory of late Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev.
