PanARMENIAN.Net - Environmental protection program involving Armenian teenagers was initiated though financial support of HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC and participation of WWF Armenia, Armenian Women for Health and Healthy Environment NGO.

On December 14, Yerevan hosted official award ceremony of essay writing competition winners with 180 students participating.

“Hopefully our teenagers will become nature ambassadors. We aim to help children to preserve the surrounding environment,” marketing manager at HSBC Armenia Mariam Adamyan said.

WWF Armenia director Karen Manvelyan, in turn, noted that 30% more resources are currently used than our planet can recover.

The program brought together about 207 students, 59 teachers from Armenia’s five provinces: Shirak, Vayots Dzor, Lori, Syunik, Tavush, as well as in Yerevan.
