ARRESTED IN AZERBAIJAN OPPOSITIONISTS WENT ON INDEFINITE HUNGER STRIKE
A group of people arrested in Azerbaijan on the account of the anti-Aliyev actions October 15-16 declared today that they are going on hunger strike not limited in time. Editor-in-chief of "Yeni Musavat" opposition newspaper Rauf Arifogly, leader of the Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu, chairman of the Union of Karabakh Veterans Etiran Asadov are among the hunger strikers, the attorney, who visited the arrested in the Bailov jail, told Turan agency. The action participants demand the Azeri leadership to fulfill the requirement produced by the OSCE regarding the immediate release all those who participated in the actions taken place after the presidential election. In all 107 people were detained at that time.
