Armenia, Kuwait to strengthen economic ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - A newly-appointed Kuwaiti Ambassador to Armenia Bassam Mohammed Al-Qabandi submitted copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

At the meeting, the Minister expressed hope for the opening of Kuwaiti Embassy in Armenia to signal a new start for development of bilateral relations. The Ambassador, in turn, noted the interest of both countries in strengthening of ties.

The parties further discussed the development of economic ties, specifically stressing the activities of intergovernmental group in implementation of Armenia-Kuwait investment agreements, Foreign Ministry press service reported.
