Armenia beats Vietnam at Women's Chess Championship round 8

In the 8th round of FIDE Women's World Team Championship, Armenian chess team gained a 2,5:1,5 win over Vietnam, with Elina Danielian, Lilit Mkrtchian beating Pham Le Thao Nguyen, Hoang Thi Bao Tram resp.

Nelly Aginian tied the match vs. Hoang Thi Nhu Y, with Maria Kursova losing to Nguyen Thi Mai Hung.

After the win, Armenia squad is placed 6th with 8 points; China is leading with 14 points, followed by Russia and India (12 and 11 points resp.)
