  Samsung reports 35 mln handsets sale in Q4 January 7, 2012 - 12:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung Electronics expects its Q4 numbers to jump 22 percent over Q3 for a profit of 5.2 trillion won ($4.5 billion), handily beating estimates and setting an all-time quarterly earnings record for the company. The South Korean firm, the world's largest maker of flat panels, memory chips and flat-screen televisions, was publishing its earnings guidance before official results are released later this month. Samsung is forecasting that it shipped 35 million handsets in Q4, up a full 25 percent against the quarter prior, IT media report.
