One girl was killed and other 10 people were injured as a driver who used psychoactive substances crashed into a crowd enjoying public festivity in one of the squares of the Ukrainian city of Lugansk, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
“A medical examination has showed that the driver had taken in a psychoactive drug,” traffic police added.
The man was driving a Nissan Tiida as he crashed his car into a large group of youth celebrating Old New Year.
A criminal case was initiated.
In an extended press release Lugansk traffic police said that the man was stripped of his driving license on December 1, 2011.
