ElBaradei will not run in Egypt's presidential election - source

PanARMENIAN.Net - Mohamed ElBaradei will not run in Egypt's presidential election scheduled for later this year and will announce his withdrawal later on Saturday, Jan 14, a source on his campaign team told Reuters.

"ElBaradei will announce his withdrawal from the presidency bid," the source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said.

The announcement would be made at a news conference called by ElBaradei, a former head of the UN nuclear watchdog.
