Petrosian, Hovhannisyan lead Armenian men's chess championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the 9th round of Armenian men's chess championship, Tigran L. Petrosian and Robert Hovhannisyan tied games with Hrayr Simonyan and Arman Pashikyan respectively, both having scored 5,5 points.

Zaven Andriasian- Samvel Ter-Sahakyan game also ended in a draw, with Andriasian coming 3rd with 5 points.

Karen Grigorian and Levon Babujyan gained wins over Artashes Minasyan and Hrant Melkumyan resp.

The 10th round pairings have been announced as follows: Hrayr Simonyan - Levon Babujyan, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan -Tigran L. Petrosian, Robert Hovhannisyan - Zaven Andriasian, Artashes Minasyan- Arman Pashikyan, Avetik Grigoryan - Karen Grigorian.

The 10th round is scheduled for January 21.
