ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT GOING TO DISCUSS KARABAKH SETTLEMENT PROCESS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Assembly commission for foreign relations adopted the resolution on holding a special sitting devoted to the Karabakh conflict settlement with the participation of Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian. "After the election the process of the conflict settlement will be apparently activated in Armenia and Azerbaijan and in this view discussions are a very important factor for specifying stands and assessments", commission chairman Armen Rustamian told Arminfo agency. In his words, in the course of the sitting, the terms of which are being determined at present, the question of conducting open parliamentary hearings for the multifaceted discussion of the conflict will be also raised. "Due to the outcomes of the hearings the commission intends to adopt a corresponding document, which will give the assessment of the process of settlement having national resolving", - A. Rustamian stated. The parliamentarian noted that Armenia has reached consensus on the Karabakh issue.
