ARMENIA AND NATO HELD RECURRENT ROUND OF CONSULTATIONS
Armenia and the NATO held a recurrent round of consultations on security issues in Brussels. According to the report by the Armenian MFA press service, deputy to the Armenian foreign minister Tatul Margarian headed the Armenian delegation and deputy to the NATO Secretary General, Ambassador Gunther Altenberg was at the head of the NATO delegation. In the course of the consultations the issues of the regional security, Armenia-NATO cooperation within the framework of "Partnership for Peace" program were discussed. The prospects of cooperation between Armenia and the NATO in political and military spheres, in the field of emergency situations as well as science and education were also viewed. Upon the completion of the negotiations the parties announced about readiness to continue cooperation.
