Aronian defeats Gelfand in Tata Steel 12th round

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian defeated Boris Gelfand of Israel in the 12th round of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands.

Aronian keeps the lead with 8.5 points to face Azerbaijan’s Teimour Rajabov in the last round. Rajabov has 7.5 points and shares the 2nd-3rd places with Magnus Carlsen of Norway.
