World's officials gather for Munich Security Conference

The world's top security and defense officials are gathering for the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany, amid uncertainty over the future of the Middle East and the implications of the financial crisis in Europe.

The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, will address the conference on February 4.

Mr. Rasmussen’s address will take place during the opening Plenary Session on “Building an Euroatlantic Security Community”.

United States’ Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Guido Westerwelle, will address the conference during the same session.
