For inestimable contribution to development of medicine and health protection famous Russian physician Leonid Roshal is awarded title of Honorary Doctor of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. Roshal was participating in the international conference of surgeons being held in Yerevan. It should be reminded that after the Spitak earthquake he had headed the group of Soviet physicians, who had arrived in Armenia with a humanitarian mission.
