Russian and Armenian control bodies will conduct joint examination in the energy and military spheres, as Russian Accounts department chairman Sergey Stepashin stated upon signing in Moscow the memorandum on cooperation with the Armenian Control department. Particularly, in Stepashin's words, joint testing in the energy sphere in Armenia will be carried out taking into consideration the fact purchasing of a number of Armenian energy units by United Energy Systems of Russia. To note, UES of Russia is cooperating with three key Armenian energy units these being Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, Sevan-Razdan cascade including 5 hydroelectric plants as well as Razdan Heat Power Plant which has been recently passed to the trust administration of UES of Russia.
