65173 carats of diamond were produced in Armenia in January-December 2011 against 67992 carats during the same period in 2010.

According to the National Statistical Service, 434,5 kg of jewelry was produced during the reporting period against 416,0 kg in 2010. The upsurge in the industry was 4,4% compared to January-December 2010.
