LiveJournal blogging host is partially unavailable, with the problem currently investigated, LiveJournal Russia CEO reported.

“No information as to functioning errors or specific access issues has yet been provided,” Ilya Dronov said.

The website is unavailable in Armenia as well. According to HostTracker monitoring service the majority of operational issues were encountered by LiveJournal users in Russia and Europe.

In 2011, LiveJournal was often rendered inoperational because of frequent DDoS attacks.
