PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghulyan met with the Slovak politician, member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic František Mikloško and a delegation of Slovak entrepreneurs accompanied by chairman of the Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe Ashot Grigorian.

Stressing the importance of cooperation with Slovakia, NKR speaker welcomed the fact that number of the Slovak delegation members grows with every visit.

Mr. Mikloško, in turn, said that Stepanakert has rapidly developed into a European city. “The problem of Nagorno Karabakh is Europe’s problem. And Artsakh should be perceived as an independent country,” he stated.

At the guests’ request, speaker Ghulyan briefed on steps taken for international recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

Dwelling on economic ties, both sides noted the importance of investments and trade relations for recognition of Artsakh by the international community.
