ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTER TO VISIT LITHUANIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian defense minister Serge Sargsian will make a formal visit to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, September 21. As reported by Mediamax agency, Lithuanian president Rolandas Paksas stated in Yerevan today. To remind, Armenian defense minister first visited Lithuania last August. At that time, S. Sargsian stated that Armenia welcomes Lithuania's offer to share its military experience with the South Caucasian countries. "The South Caucasian region and its stability is one of the NATO's tasks. By this reason Lithuania wishes to join the efforts for achievement of stability in the region", - Lithuanian defense minister Linas Linkevicius stated in Vilnius then.
