The other day over 50 US Congress members joined the US Armenian community to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915. As reported by the Armenian National Committee of America, gatherings of the Armenian community are annually held on the Capitol Hill to revere the memory of the Armenian Genocide and discuss issues of concern for Armenians of the world. Armenian ambassador to the US Arman Kirakosian, NKR representative in Washington Vardan Barseghian, Armenian clergy members participated in the ceremony.
