Armenian sportsmen participate in Judo Grand Prix Düsseldorf 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian judoka Hovhannes Davtyan (60 kg) lost to Michael Iten in the 1/16 final of Judo Grand Prix Düsseldorf 2012, while Artur Vardanyan was defeated by Valtteri Jokinen (Finland) in the 1/32 final in the same weight class.

Arthur Yeranosyan (U 66 kg) and Zhanna Stankevich (57 kg) lost to Islam Baialinov (Kyrgyzstan) and Rafael Silva (Brazil) respectively.

In 1/16 final Armen Nazaryan (66 kg) will clash Kasym Populov (Turkmenistan), Artyom Baghdasaryan will rival Alexander Wieczerzak (Germany), Hakob Arakelyan (100 kg) - Dino Pfeiffer (Germany).

Gayane Harutyunyan (48 kg) will face off against Jung-Yeon Chung (China).
