ARMENIAN SERVICEMEN HAVE NOT ARRIVED IN BAKU YET TO PARTICIPATE IN NATO CONFERENCE ON ARRANGING COMING MANEUVERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The conference on planning the NATO "Cooperative Best Effort-2004" exercises to be held in the territory of Azerbaijan in June has commenced in Baku. It should be reminded that the Armenian party has displayed intention to participate in the Baku forum. Meanwhile, as reported by Baku sources, activists of the Organization for Karabakh Liberation and a number of other Azeri organizations watch at "Bina" Baku airport for the purpose of hampering the arrival of Armenian servicemen to the Azeri capital for taking part in the conference. However, as reported by "Turan" Azeri agency, their expectations to meet the Armenians yesterday at 7.05 p.m. upon the arrival of a flight from Tbilisi turned out to be in vain. As Baku media supposes, the Armenian military may arrive today via a flight from Istanbul or Moscow. It should be reminded that in compliance with a statement of the Armenian defense ministry, the Azeri embassy in Tbilisi denied Armenian officers entry visas to Azerbaijan without any explanations. However the Armenian delegation will try to obtain them at the Baku airport.
