Today in Brussels Secretary General of the Council of the European Union Javier Solana and Turkish foreign minister Abdullah Gul will discuss Turkey-EU relations, as well as "regional issues of mutual interest." As Martha Leon, a representative of the press service of the Secretary General of the EU Council, told Mediamax agency, Javier Solana and Abdullah Gul will not discuss matters of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. The interlocutors will focus on settlement of the Cyprus problem and the situation in the Near East, she noted.
