MAIN CONTRACT ON BUILDING IRAN-ARMENIA GAS PIPELINE TO BE SIGNED IN NEXT MONTHS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The main contract on building the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline will be signed in next months - in the course of the visit of the Iranian minister of oil and gas to Yerevan. Armenian minister of energy Armen Movsisian told the opinion to journalists. In his words, a version of building the gas pipeline, acceptable for both parties, is found. Answering the question whose gas will be transported via the pipeline - Turkmen or Iranian - A. Movsisian answered, there is no difference. "Naturally, it will be easier to coordinate actions and solve problems with an adjacent state rather than with Turkmenistan. When the pipeline is built the economy will dictate which gas we will receive," the minister stated.
