Vatican’s website apparently attacked by Anonymous

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vatican’s main website, www.vatican.va, was inaccessible on Wednesday, March 7, after an apparent attack by hacker syndicate Anonymous, Fudzilla reports.

Anon apparently targeted the Holy See to protest Catholic doctrine, dating back a few hundred years, and the sexual abuse of children. The grudge extends back to persecution of heretics [Bogumils FTW. Ed], execution of scholars, the burning of books during the Inquisition and so on.

Anonymous was quick to point out that the attack was in no way aimed against the Christian religion, just its shady post-Roman administration.

Vatican spokesman Rev. Federico Lombardi confirmed the attacks but did not comment on the possible source. So either it was Anonymous, or Martin Luther came back from the dead, which would render Vatican and its doctrine rather pointless.
