On March 9, Hajimurat Nurmagomedov (84kg) will face Edgaras Voitechovskis (Lithuania) in the 1/16 final of the European Wrestling Championships, ongoing in Belgrade.

Karine Shadoyan (72 kg) will clash with Katerina Burmistrova (Ukraine) in the 1/8 final of the women’s championships.

David Safaryan (66kg) was the only Armenian participant who grabbed a bronze medal on the first day of the Championships.
